Pakistan shatters India’s hegemonic designs: PU VC


LAHORE: (Friday, May 16, 2025): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali has said that Pakistan has shattered India’s dream of becoming a major power in the region, and we are grateful to Allah Almighty for this great victory. He expressed these views while addressing a flag hoisting ceremony and rally organized outside the PU Admin Block in connection with the day of thanksgiving for the success of ‘Operation Bunyan um Marsoos’ here on Friday. In the ceremony Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali hoisted the flag and led the rally from VC’s office to the Undergraduate Block. On this occasion, PU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Registrar Dr Ahmed Islam, President Academic Staff Association Dr Amjad Abbas Magsi, teachers and employees were present. In his address, Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that great nations never forget their martyrs and ghazis. He said that we pay tribute to the martyrs and their families. He said that the bravery shown by the Pakistan Air Force is unparalleled. He said that the ground forces repelled the Indian army on occupied Kashmir, Sialkot border and other fronts. He said that after seeing the preparedness of Pakistan Navy, the enemy did not dare to attack. He said that our cyber force fought the best war on its front as well.

He said that the Pakistani forces defeated a much larger enemy and taught India a lesson that its generations will remember. He said that Pakistan’s response has been proven that decisions will be made on the basis of equality in the region. He said that the whole world recognized Pakistan's victory in the war. He said that the Pakistani nation has shown great solidarity. He said that the teachers, employees and students of PU are grateful to their political leadership and Pak army. He said that if India attacks again, there will be an even stronger and greater response. He said that the Pakistani nation is not afraid of sacrificing their lives. He said that we will move forward stronger and united, and will always defend our holy land. He said that our enemy is cunning and cowardly who always attacks in the darkness of night. The participants of the rally raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army, which concluded outside the undergraduate block.
